Our HERO Challenge Two event will start and finish on the outskirts of Ledbury in Hereford, with the Malvern Hills just over the border to the east into Worcestershire. The idyllic historic market town has a multitude of Black & White Tudor Buildings, many lining the high street and the beautiful Market Hall standing proudly in the centre

Herefordshire nevertheless is best known for its rich heritage of apple orchards of which the industry continues to thrive, and we will be pass several of these over the course of the day.

A much-overlooked county, Hereford has an abundance of rolling green hills, winding rivers and peaceful farmland settings, making it an ideal location for us to explore! Our route will also see us skirt over the Malvern Hills (glimpsing Worcestershire) and negotiate the Wye Valley. You will be spotting orchards, fruit farms and numerous small businesses that make up Herefords large agriculture community of farm shops, artisan cheese producers, organic poultry farms and of course world class cider and perry mills.

A carefully crafted route is promised, featuring both scenic and challenging roads that allow us to blend the thrill of competition with the beauty of the British landscape. The navigational challenge will begin low and increase over the day building on from Hero Challenge One, but in increments so that anyone new to Regularity Rallying is not overwhelmed.

The event will follow the normal format for a HERO Challenge with scrutineering on the Friday afternoon and evening, and Saturday morning will see competitors departing for a full day’s competition in and around the Herefordshire hills before heading back to Ledbury for the finish and prize giving.

Scrutineering and Documentation is scheduled as usual on Friday afternoon/early evening allowing crews plenty of time to travel.

Day 1

Rally Day - 26th June 2027

Beginning with a short road section to a couple of against the clock tests we will then set off for two regularities, our route directing us over the Malvern Hills on wonderful rural roads heading into the heart of the county for a further test before a richly deserved coffee halt.

Refreshed, another test awaits you out of coffee before we embark on the second leg of our day, moving on to the area west of Hereford for two more regularities on some fantastic undulating roads the navigational challenges increasing by the mile. Further tests keep the adrenaline flowing before we head for a well-earned lunch halt at a wonderful Traditional Country Public House.

After lunch we really see the competition start to hot up as the navigational challenge intensifies for the remaining two regularities and with tests to challenge the drivers crews will be pleased to return to Ledbury for the finish before 5:00pm, affording the opportunity to head home in good time after the awards presentation.
