Gaucho Trail Motor Challenge 2026 Update
*An important message from the Chairman of HERO-ERA Tomas de Vargas Machuca
Dear friends,
In light of the reported turmoils in Parguay affecting the banking systems and the subsequent impact on the lives of ordinary people trying to recover their savings and pensions following the collapse of the digital bank, coupled with the (ex) Presidents involvement and the effect on customs staff, medical staff, immigation staff etc we would not be suprised if the tumoil turns to strike action.
Its unfortunate that this will impact on our visit to this beautiful country, but given you put so much trust in us, we don't feel its an appropriate risk to take for 2 days.
Our preferred option is to stay in this spectacular location for another day but we also working on another plan and we thank you for your understanding whilst the team works to make this happen.
More information on this will be published once we have news to share.
Tomas
